Take the 405 freeway to the 105 freeway. Take the 105 freeway west about 1.5 miles. LAX will be on your right (north). The freeway ends and the road continues as the West Imperial Highway for 2 more miles to the beach and ends in a T intersection with Vista Del Mar. Turn left (south) onto Vista Del Mar, go about 1/2 mile, and there will be a pedestrian bridge that crosses above the road. Immediately after the pedestrian bridge, turn right into a large parking lot. The Windsports hang gliding building (8' x 40', beige) is at the far south (left) end of this parking lot, almost right across the road from a steam plant with two large, red & white smokestacks. The training hills are just outside the fence from the building, across the bike path. Remember, there is a $5-$7 daily parking fee for this lot.
